Step into the world of English Division, where language transcends borders and brings people from diverse backgrounds together. In this vibrant and dynamic division, the power of the English language takes center stage as a unifying force, fostering connections, understanding, and communication in an ever-changing global landscape.
With a rich tapestry of cultures and perspectives, the English Division at Kings University College is a melting pot of creativity, innovation, and shared experiences. Its mission is to explore, celebrate, and dissect the nuances of the English language through a wide array of academic disciplines, from literature and linguistics to creative writing and cultural studies.
At the completion of each level, all students receive reports of their 6 assessments (reading, writing, listening, speaking, presentation, grammar) as well as their teacher’s assessments. Then students who score 60% or higher are given report cards and may proceed to the next level. Students will receive a Certificate of completion once they complete the program.
At Kings, you will meet people from around the world who are just as ambitious as you are! Furthermore, as we aren’t just an English school, you can simply continue your studies with us as we offer diploma, degree and MBA courses, as well as gateway programs to Australia and the U.K.
It was such a memorable experience to study English at Kings University College. I loved taking the ESL classes because it was not only about studying English but also about learning about different cultures from other classmates, which was really interesting. I had many things to absorb from them. Since they apply small-class teaching, the distance between teachers and students is close and all the teachers are native-English speakers.
I chose to study at Kings University College because I had previously studied with the team there before when they were at a different school in Malaysia. Bret and the staff at Kings have a very strong English-learning system and they all treat me like family.
My advice to new students is to follow the rhythm of the ESL classes, perform the assigned tasks, and take advantage of the tools that the Learning Centre offers.
Studying at Kings University College was an amazing opportunity for me. Not only did I have the opportunity to learn from highly skilled teachers but also I had the great opportunity to learn from valuable experiences. I also learned a lot from my classes which I could use in my everyday life in Malaysia as English is spoken here. I started to learn about IELTS from a low level and the material that was taught was easy to understand.
